Alfabeto flamenco

El alfabeto flamenco fue producto de un encargo de Kiko Veneno, a finales de los 90, para las letras capitulares de un libro de coplas que preparaba junto a Chico Ocaña. Pero algo se torció en ese proyecto y el libro nunca se hizo y yo nunca terminé de diseñar todas las letras. Hace unos meses vi a Kiko en Córdoba y hablamos de la posibilidad de terminarlo y darle un uso. De momento, aquí tenéis una muestra. Tengo algunas letras más dibujadas, pero aún no me parecen redondas. Nótese en la S el bailaor que dio origen del dibujo de la entrada anterior.

The flamenco alphabet was born at the end of the 90's from a command by the singer and songwriter Kiko Veneno, who wanted to use it as capital letters for a book of songs he was preparing together with the also singer and songwriter Chico Ocaña. Something went wrong with the project and the book never came out, and I never finished the whole alphabet. This is a sample of it. I've still got other letters drawn, but they're not perfect yet. Notice in the S the dancer that gave origin to the drawing in the previous post.
